I think I have found a problem with the website account setup.
My first order with the shop had the courier confused when the delivery address had the correct details I had saved, apart from the postcode, which was shown as the billing address postcode. I thought it was my mistake on setup so I changed, saved and rechecked. The home postcode was still there!!
Interesting. So then I amended my billing postcode ONLY to something different, saved and hey-presto - this gets copied to the delivery address postcode!
Am I going mad?
