I already own the original Handpresso Wild which uses ESE pods.

I have never been happy with the coffee that I get from pods and (as an avid home roaster) have decided to bite the bullet and buy the Domepod as well.

Will the Domepod fit my original case or do I need to buy a new one? WHat about the intensifying filter?

Which accessories are compatible between models?

Any news on the outdoor set?

Anyone know?

Thanks in advance!

David

(P.S. very happy to give advice on any aspect of home roasting .. once you've done it you'll never go back!!!!!)

Hi David,

Thanks for the note.

The Handpresso Wild and Domepod are identical in dimension so all accessories work for both. Your case will be absolutely fine for the Domepod as will the Intense Portafilter. With the Domepod it is also useful to have the Handpresso Domepod Case which is meant to keep three pre-ground filter baskets ready for the journey:

What specifically about the Outdoor Set were you interested in? It is certainly available, so check out this link:

Keep the posts coming!

I was looking for an outdoor set for the Domepod rather than the ESE model.

Also ... Does anyone know where I can get a 35mm tamper to tamp the coffee down properly for the Domepod?

David

Hi David,

Unfortunately, Handpresso only offers the outdoor set with the ESE model.

As for tamping the coffee in the Domepod, the suggested method is to firmly press down on the coffee with your thumb.

Best,

Rob

Resources such as the 1 you mentioned right here will be incredibly useful to myself! I'll publish a hyperlink to this web page on my private weblog. I'm certain my site guests will come across that fairly beneficial.-angelbaby6677
