what is the best way to keep my multiple bags of coffee beans fresh? Currently i keep them in the fridge, should they be kept at room temperature or possibly the freezer?

Good Afternoon

I think the best way to store your beans, would be in an air tight container that way it will keep them fresh.

I do hope this has helped

Kind regards

Once you have opened your hermetically sealed bag keep the coffee in your airtight container but as cold as possible to prevent it trying to get oxygen from the air. The beans will warm up soon enough in fresh air at room temperature. You can keep them in the freezer. When they are cold they will react more slowly.

Opinion as to you should put coffee in the fridge or freezer is split in the industry. I don't believe you should as my view after countless testing is that the aroma and taste properties are effected. Airtight container definitely, away from direct light, in a cupboard for example.

They key consideration is that coffee will only stay fresh for a limited time so purchase smaller bags if it takes you a while to use

Air tight and room temp is the way to go.
