Hi Daniel

Thank you for your post.

Well what kind of coffee do you like? would it be strong, medium or mild?
Also would it be beans, ground or coffee pods?

Thank you
Tammy

Good Afternoon

I think the Sumatran Beans are the beans for you as they are not too mild not too strong they will pull a good crema on top of your espresso.

Description below:

This is a complex blend of FTO RFA Honduras and FTO Sumatra roasted slowly to a rich roast level to produce an intense Smokey chocolate flavour with subtle notes of liquorish and cardamom. The two coffee carry full ethical and organic certifications and we have separately helped a small village in Takengon, Northern Sumatra to build a coffee processing station that will benefit the whole community and also ensure great consistent quality. Makes a wonderful espresso and is equally good for milky drinks; cappuccino, latte etc.

If you want something else I would go for the Vintage beans which are not too strong just rite. With 80% Arabica beans and 20% Robusta beans.

Description below:

This blend is ideal for making cappuccinos and other milky drinks, as it has got a good "kick to it, ensuring that the coffee flavour does not "drown" in the milk. It is also superb for strong espresso. A blend for those who appreciate real Italian style drinks!

Hope this has helped to make up your mind.

Kind regards
Tammy

Hi there,

Im looking for an organic coffee pod. And an organic coffee that is medium to strong with a mexican arabica smooth with a touch of sweetness and less bitterness type taste. With good creme on top.

Anyone know if this is available anywhere or if it is available in the near future.

wonderful and thank you for the fairfax sumatra link regarding the ethical and organic beans, this one sound like one i would like, do they come in pods too?
thanks
L

Good Morning,

I'm not aware of an organic coffee pod (Sumatran or otherwise) at the moment but hopefully it won't be too long before one is available. As for the organic coffee you are looking for, I have two tempting recommendations:

Espressione Organic Blend 435 http://www.fairfaxcoffee.com/Items/Coffee-Beans/Espressione-Fairtrade-Organic-Blend-435.aspx

Tasting Notes - A blend of roasted beans from Brazil, Papua New Guinea and Honduras. Well balanced notes of sweet lemon and caramel with overtones of macadamia nut. Brews an excellent espresso with a hint of creamy nut when taken with milk as cappuccino and latte.

and

Espressione Organic Blend 434 http://www.fairfaxcoffee.com/Items/Coffee-Beans/Espressione-Fairtrade-Blend-434---15kg.aspx

Tasting Notes - A blend of roasted beans from Brazil, Honduras, Ethiopia and Tanzania. Has the complex character of an aged coffee with low acidity. A smooth deep, woody flavour with tones of smoked tobacco.

Best,

Rob

We have a lot of customers who really like the traditional Italian taste of Vintage. A bite of Robusta together with the smoothness of and Arabica blend. Bean to cup machine users as well as those who like to pull a shot with a lever machine go for this blend.

For me it has to be arabica beans, nothing beats the quality and unique flavour early in the morning.

first of all you know Coffee beans are the seeds of the coffee plant, which are found inside the coffee berry or coffee cherries.
In my point of view the best coffee beans are Coffea arabica, and Coffea robusta. it is otherwise known as Coffea canephora.
More than three-quarters of the coffee beans sold in the world are a variety of Coffea arabica, while the remainder is Coffea robusta.

According to me "Eight O'Clock" coffee brand is best and reasonable in price.
